Sales Representative – Radio Broadcast, Studio and Broadcast Technology.

Our company AVW Broadcast Pty Ltd, is a member of The AVW group (established in 1982)

We are a specialised engineering solutions and equipment supplier to the Radio / Television Broadcast, IP / IPTV Content Delivery and Integrated AV / Communications marketplace across Australia and New Zealand.

Our clients range from major Television / Radio Networks, Communications Providers, Medical and Education facilities, and through to Government and Private Enterprise.

We are looking for a suitably experienced Sales Representative to further develop and manage our Radio Broadcast / Studio and Broadcast technology clients. Ideally you will have 3~5+ years’ sales / technical sales experience in the Radio and Broadcast Technology area and have a solid understanding of the Australian Broadcast marketplace.

Whilst you will be working in a small team environment with technical and engineering support, this position would suite an self-managed individual who is not afraid to outwardly call, visit and communicate with clients – this role isn’t for some-one to sit-back and wait for the phone to ring.

In return AVW will provide the right applicant a generous remuneration package, allowances and the opportunity to grow this position with flexible working hours and location – this is a sales position and is largely results driven.

The ideal candidate will:
– Have 3~5+ years of experience in the Radio / Broadcast Technologies Fields
– Have an interest in Audio, Radio and the wider Broadcast Technology Industries
– Have strong verbal / written communications skills
– Want to work for a Smaller (but growing) Technical company – with strong growth opportunities and a small management structure
– Work well independently and in a small team environment
– Not be afraid to call, visit and generate new growth opportunities.
– Be based (Ideally) in Sydney – or Melbourne for the right candidate
– Have strong verbal / written communications skills
– Happy to sell into both the Commercial and Community Broadcast sectors.

The role is primarily based in our Sydney Head-office (St-Leonards) with onsite parking and good public transport links. For the right candidate we are happy to discuss employment in other major cities plus the opportunity for flexible working opportunities (part-time or full-time)
